形態特徵

• Plants 12-25 cm tall, with short rhizomes and filiform clustered roots, bearing leaves near middle or upper part. Stems erect, pale green and ridged below leaves, puberulous and bearing 1-3 bract-like scales above leaves, scales ovate-lanceolate, 3-5 mm long.
• Leaves sessile, broadly ovate or ovate-deltoid, 1.5-2.5 cm long, 1.8-3.2 cm wide, apex acute, truncate-sucordate at base, glabrous on both surfaces, membranaceous, with reticulate veinlets.
• Raceme 3-6 cm long, loosely 3-7-flowered; bracts ovate-lanceolate, 3-4.5 mm long, 2 mm wide, acute; pedicel and ovary 6-8 mm long, glabrous or sometimes sparsely puberulous, ovary distinctly down-curved from pedicel. Flowers spreading, greenish, dorsal sepal lanceolate, 3-4.5 mm long, 1-2 mm wide, apex acute, slightly contracted at base; lateral sepals falcate-lanceolate, 3.5-5.5 mm long, 1.5-2.5 mm wide, apex acute, broadly cuneate at base; petals linear-lanceolate, 3-5 mm log, 0.7-1 mm wide, acuminate; lip spreading, cuneate-rectangular or oblong, 6-10 mm long, 3-7.5 mm wide, pale and white-ciliate along margin, 2-lobed, lobes ovate-oblong, 2 mm long, 1.5-2.5 mm wide, obtuse-rounded at apex, disc bearing median thickened keel running longitudinally from sinus toward base and ending at ca. 1/3 distance from base, base with lengthwise groove bordered by 2 lateral low ridges; column elongate, 4 mm long, top dilated and distinctly bent down from slender neck and stalk; anther, oblong, 1 mm long; pollinia clavate, unequally cleft, stigma semiorbicular; rostellum rectangular, 0.8 mm, truncate-mucronate at apex.

分布

• 台灣 : forests of <i>Abies kawakamii</i> and <i>Tsuga chinensis</i> var. <i>formosana</i>, 2,700-3,000 m, in central Taiwan.
